A Weekend for Two!

Edward and I took a trip to Denver, CO to have some time for the two of us before the baby comes. Here is a picture from the Aquarium. Notice the tiger (yes, a tiger at the aquarium) in the background? We became good friends with them as you will see. Besides me having strep throat and a cold on top of that, we had a great time. We realized that we hadn't been alone together for 4 days since our honeymoon almost 3 years ago. Anyways, we were very lucky that Grandma Susan and Edward's Auntie Katie came and stayed with Gabriel. He wore them out, but it sounds like they had a great time. Enjoy the pics!

A night out!

The Snow!!!

Last year we started what we wanted to become a tradition, and so this year we continued with our tradition. We packed the car and headed to Flagstaff with the kids for a day of snow! This year we went with our friends Daniel, Holly, and their daughter Addisen and our other friends Bill and Terri and their daughters Emily and McKenna. We had a great time. None of us slept great at the hotel, so we were all pretty tired the next day, but we did it. We got up, stopped for breakfast at "The Place" and spent 2 1/2 hours in the snow.

Holly taught Addisen to throw snowballs at her dad, but Daniel turned it back around on Holly. It was pretty cute how quickly Addisen caught on to the fun. She, of course, quickly got Gabriel involved!

Best of friends!!

Gabriel and our friends' Daniel and Holly's daughter, Addisen, are the best of friends! Okay, considering they are 21 months and 18 months respectively, it is really hard to say that, but they get very excited to see each other! They play very well together usually. Sometimes they just enjoy taking or playing with whatever the other has.

On this particular days couple of weeks ago, we were babysitting Addisen and they were supposed to be going to bed. They were instructed to go and say goodnight to Edward in the bedroom. Turns out Edward was separating laundry in the closet, so they got sidetracked and this is how I found them.

She convinced him to play in lieu of watching TV.

Luckily enough, they were convinced it was time for bed. At least they had worn each other out, so it wasn't too much of a fight. :)

Try and try again!

So, I decided that I am really bad about sending out pictures on a monthly or even semi-annual basis! I figured I would try this again. Hopefully you will all add this to your favorites and I will actually update more often than I have been.

I will start off with some pictures from Christmas!

Gabriel got a powerwheels for Christmas! He loves it!!! (Yes, a little ridiculous for a 21 month old, but his dad and grandpa would have to disagree!)

We spent Christmas with Edward's family in CA this year! Here are a couple of picutes with Grandma and Grandpa Hache!

For those of you that I haven't talked to in forever......Edward and I are expecting a baby girl in April! Yep, that's another April baby! We are very excited to be adding to our family and can't wait to see who this one will look like!

I will end with some pictures of Edward and his new quad! He got it just before Christmas and he really loves riding. Gabriel and I went with a couple of weekends ago, and Gabriel got to take his truck out, too. He really loved taking his friend Addisen on a ride.
