Lots going on.....

There has been so much going on lately, and our camera is not working too well so I don't have a lot of pictures, but I thought I should send some updates. So here it goes......
1. Edward and I have celebrated our birthdays over the last couple of weeks. We received tons of cards, calls, e-mails, texts, ect from everyone and we were so thankful to feel so loved!!!
2. My friend Carrie had her baby girl on my birthday!!! She was 2 1/2 weeks early, but perfectly happy and healthy! She is so cute!!! Her name is Kamryn Ann, but they are calling her Kami.

This makes me nervous on a couple of levels. For one, she was due only 3 weeks before me so that means I am that much closer. That leads me to my next point which is that I still have a lot of work to do before Baby Kiera makes her arrival.

3. Gabriel always gets his hair cut by Edward, and this time I was in the other room. Edward had some fun.

This is before the haircut.

This was halfway through.

When Gabriel came out to show me his hair cut I laughed, and then I told Edward to finish cutting it. He did and now he is back to his short hair. Thank goodness now that it is really warming up.

4. Spring Break!!! Spring Break started for me just a couple of hours ago! Edward and Gabriel are leaving this weekend to go see his family and I am staying home. I am really excited to sleep in, take naps, and read a book I haven't touched since getting it for Christmas, but I am going to miss the boys. They will have a ton of fun with the family. It will be a while before we all go back so it was a good time for them to visit before Kiera comes. I am really looking forward to having some quality time with Gabriel this week since I will be off. I know he will have fun, too, but he always has a really hard time being away from me when we have time like this together. It's okay though because soon enough I will be home with both of my kids full time!!!

I can't believe how big Gabriel is getting! I hope you enjoy your down time this weekend ... I'm looking forward to some of that myself - well, that and trying out the ice cream machine ;)
