When I was little I used to day dream about life. Not about things like my first kiss, my first "love" or even the senior prom, but more specifically about when I was settled down. I would dream about my tall, dark, and handsome husband (check), kids (check), and just being a family (check, check).
I remember back to the Valentine's Day before Edward and I got married. He had sent flowers to my work. He picked a dozen peach tulips (the same ones I had picked for our wedding) and added a note that simply said "I can't wait to marry you". Of course I started crying in front of my 4th grade class and then had to explain to a bunch of 9 year olds why I was crying. I couldn't wait to be married. When I think back to that day almost 4 years ago I didn't know exactly what life would have in store for Edward and I. I simply knew that I was marrying the man of my dreams and I couldn't wait to live out forever.
Guess what? Today is forever. Today I have my family. Today I am married to the most incredible man I know. Today I have the most beautiful, amazing children. I am living my dream. Who would have thought all those years ago that I would be so lucky to be where I am today. I am so thankful that I have been so blessed. I can only hope that my friends and family look at their lives and think about how much they have to be thankful for, and how many of their dreams they are living. :)

So true, we get so caught up in everyday life and don't realize what we have. We tend to take for granted the gifts God has given us: a happy marriage, healthy happy kids, and great friends/family to share life with. I'm so thankful to have you guys as friends.
