Water Day
As the school year is winding down, I thought it would be fun to have a fun water day with all the babysitting kids.
Gabriel, Caleb and Paul playing with the sprinkler.
The slip-n-slide. Classic.
Kiera kept inching closer and closer to the water, eventually giving in to the water.
After we turned the water off Abby finally decided to head over to the slip-n-slide. She was still pretty dry, so Edward took it upon himself to soak her with the hose. She liked it, it was pretty funny.
Kiera got filthy.....
so Edward had to hose her off. :)
The morning crew (Me, Kiera, Paul, Caleb, Abby, Gabriel and Caitlyn).

Snake!
While playing outside today Gabriel and Abby started yelling "snake!" I blew them off for a few minutes, but since they had never done this before I decided to take a look myself. Sure enough, there was a "snake".
Can you see the snake?
Can you see it now? This particular "snake" was just shy of an inch long (those kids have good eyes). Just so you all know, Kiera came along and stepped on the "snake" while we were looking and talking about it. I convinced them theat the snake squirmed off and went over the wall! Poor "snake".

Love Motherhood
Love Motherhood - I'm not asking, I'm not telling, I'm simply stating.
Love when my kids met for the first time.
Love our first family photo (even 20 pounds overweight).
Love Gabriel's first speech "I love you, Daddy."
Love Kiera's first egg on her first Easter.
Love Motherhood.

We miss you, San Diego
With Ernesto's birthday being tomorrow, Laura decided to surprise him with a visit to San Diego. Jenn, Don, Leia, and little Tommy decided to meet her there. We were headed to LA to visit Edward's family, so we decided to join them in San Diego for the night. We had a great time seeing Laura (it had been 5 months) and Ernesto (a couple of weeks) since we don't see them too often. The weather was a bit cool, but I just loved it! We had a lot of fun for a short trip and can't wait to go back!
At dinner for Ernesto's birthday: L-R Jenn, Daniel, Holly, Me, Edward, Leia, Laura, Ernesto and The Don
Edward was teaching Laura some defense tactics and she was trying them out on him.
