We have all been very busy lately, so I haven't posted, but I thought I should throw something up to tell everyone what we have been up to! Edward and I went to Vegas a couple of weekends ago separately. He with the guys for a bachelor party and me with the girls for fun! We both had a great time!
Edward is finishing up at his current job. He starts the academy on September 22nd! We are so excited and happy for him. He is working out and running every day to be in the best shape possible. Before he starts the academy he is going to be taking 2 weeks off to spend some good quality time with the family. We are headed to CA to visit his family and then we will be home for fours days before he heads to Vegas for one last fun trip!
The kids are great! Here is some video of what they have been up to. Kiera loves her jumper she inherited from her brother. Gabriel is almost fully potty trained. Only a couple of accidents in the last week.

Kiera's Baptism
On July 27th, we Baptized Kiera. Her Godparents are Steve and Leia (Edward's cousin). The Baptism was very nice. Kiera looked adorable and she was very good through the whole thing! AFterwards we had a party of course! She had a great day!
Kiera with her Mommy and Daddy!
Kiera with her Godparents Auntie Leia and Uncle Steve
Kiera and all of her grandparents!
Her awesome cake that someone messed up (but I won't tell the whole world it was Ernesto!) It also says happy birthday to our friend Bill. We decided to steal his day! Thanks, Bill!

The Youth Museum
Since summer is ending (oh, wait it isn't, but school is starting) so we decided to take the kids to a youth museum. I can't remember what it is called, but it is in Mesa, and it was a ton of fun.
This was a fun activity that allowed you to create a picture with precut peices and would overlap and the colors would change and what-not. Gabriel really liked it.
Here the kids colored with watercolor crayons, and then they got water on a q-tip and applied it to the picture to make it look like a watercolor. I think we need some of these for the house. I think Kelli and Holly had as much fun as the kids did!
The current theme at the museum is "Table Manners" so they had a lot of rooms dedicated to food, kitchens, and what-not. This area was Japanese themed with a shorter table with pillows to sit on and sushi and chopsticks. Gabriel was getting really good with the chopsticks by the time he was done! I think this was his favorite.
The activity room is for kids 4 and under with all sorts of things to play with. Gabriel and Addisen were fighting over this toy for a while. They both enjoyed putting the money in the drawer, closing it, and then opening it again. Eventually the toy had to go into time out because of all the fighting (even though they appear to be peaceful here - this picture was caught by pure accident)!
This car was a big hit as well. Notice Abby trying to climb in, too? This did not end too well either. They all really did have a good time!!
A Beautiful Wedding
Our friends Chris and Tammy got married a couple of weeks ago, so 10 of us including 2 kids flew to Reno then made our way to Graeagle, CA for the beautiful wedding. We rented a house right on the golf course where they were getting married, so we had a lot of fun hanging out together.
Gabriel was cuddling up with his sister while we were packing for him. He stayed with Auntie Leia and Uncle Steve while we were gone! He got to go bowling with his friend Addisen for her birhday!!
Chris, Kyle, Ernesto, Edward, and Marc at the rehearsal. Chris asked them all to be "Best Men" and they were each in charge of something different. Edward was in charge of the Bachelor Party, big surprise, huh?
My mother-in-law has always told me that I was such a beautiful bride because I was so happy on the day of my wedding. When I saw Tammy on her wedding day, I thought the exact same thing. She was absolutely georgeous! Her dark hair, light skin, and beautiful dress made her look like a porcelain doll. This picture was taken just after the ceremony and you could tell they didn't even notice anyone else was there. Chris is one lucky guy!
Edward, Kiera, and me at the reception! It was a great party. Too bad someone had to go to bed, and I missed the last hour. I heard it was a blast!!
